I love the new Emo-tions Genesis set of jewelry-clothes! The head piece is amazing and it totally fits with a hairstyle called Brandy from the same store. BUT… there’s new Genesis hair too which I will be covering in my very next post! Yes, I always like to be different, so I decided to try on some other Emo-tions hair with this new delightful headpiece in the Genesis clothes set. It looks great, but I did have to find the happy medium for how to resize it and fit it. I think Brandy looks fierce with Genesis set, and… I feel creative. win win!

If you want to be really hip, you’ll like things that are a bit obscure and ahead of their time. Then when everyone knows about the things you like, you’re already a step ahead and into the next thing. To me, the things I treasure the most are the most unique and bold in making a statement. Otherwise, the world turns into a beige glass of milk and I’m ready for eternal sleep.

There are some store sales that feel like a memorable annual event, and for me there is always a memorable sale at Finesmith Jewelry in July. Usually this occurs on the 4th of July, and I believe there actually may have been a short store sale then. But this current sale at Finesmith is a decision brought on by the designer’s decision to rennovate the store build. We are treated to a lengthy (probably a week long?) sale at Finesmith! Everything is 50 percent off, I hear, which is on top of some current discounts.

Emo-tions new hair for the 2015 Hair Fair is amazing! The Liliah style, with the gorgeous flower attachment is so good. I love it in the pastel pack, but all the color packs have amazing options.

Emo-tions has a great gift at the hair fair, for those looking for a really useful attachment style hair. You get three braid attachments and the matching hairbases, plus a bonus sun hat. I love how I was able to tint the brown sun hat a darker black tone to match my goth on vacation girl. Someday I will go on an actual vacation! For now, I can have fun with the idea of how miserable some vacations can be (yet oddly still worthwhile).

Sometimes a pun is not very punny, and other times it hits the mark. My summer has been very blue. Thankfully, blue is beautiful!
